Automation

The furnace control system is managed by a PLC-based process control platform, configured according to customer requirements.

The system includes temperature and fuel–air ratio control, combustion air and furnace pressure regulation, as well as flow rate compensation based on combustion air temperature. It also incorporates motion control and advanced material tracking functionalities.

Ensuring steel quality during the heating process requires both standardization and optimization of operating parameters. To support this, Bendotti provides proprietary mathematical models and integrated software applications.

These tools enable in-line quality monitoring and post-process analysis, including the calculation of temperature profiles, decarburization, and oxidation for each processed product.
